We are on the lookout for more people to join us and help build our new club.

There are several ways you can get involved with Leeds Roller Derby. Contact us to find out more or let us know if you want to attend any of our sessions.

Skaters

Whether you’re an experienced skater or have never strapped on a pair of skates but fancy giving it a go, we want to hear from you!

Our beginner sessions run on Thursday evenings and we have dedicated coaches to teach you how to skate and play roller derby safely. If you don’t have your own kit, we’ve got you covered: you can borrow everything you need.

Your first session is free and each session is £5 after that.

Juniors

If you’re a girl aged between 8 and 17, you can join our junior league.

Our junior sessions run on Tuesday evenings, and we have junior sized pads, helmets and skates for hire if you don’t have your own kit.

Your first session is free and each session is £5 after that. If you’d like to come along or have any questions, ask a parent or guardian to contact us.

We have an open scrimmage once a month that guest skaters are welcome to attend (£5 per session).

Please drop us a message via our contact page or on Facebook to let us know if you’re planning on coming along. All skaters must be minimum skills passed.

The next few dates are 11th July and 1st August (all 20:00 – 22:00).

Officials

We appreciate that not everyone wants to put on a pair of skates and get hit, so we are always looking for enthusiastic people to become referees and non-skating officials as well as volunteers.
